1. Scope of Service

Aika.help operates solely as a digital matchmaking platform and directory. We connect independent cleaning professionals (cleaners) with potential clients.

2. Independent Contractor Status (No Employment)

Aika.help is NOT an employer, agency, or labor contractor. All cleaners listed are independent contractors.

The Client is solely responsible for complying with all Ecuadorian Labor Laws, including but not limited to: written contracts, IESS (Social Security) registration, and payment of statutory benefits (Décimo Tercero, Décimo Cuarto, vacations).

The Cleaner is responsible for their own tax obligations (SRI).

3. Verification Disclaimer

Aika.help may verify identity and review supporting information before assigning a verification badge. Identity checks are conducted through Didit, a third-party identity verification service. Verification badges describe the checks completed at that time and are not a guarantee of future conduct.

However, we do not provide any warranty or guarantee regarding the continued accuracy of this information or the future conduct of any user. Users must exercise their own judgment and due diligence.

4. Payments and Fees

Aika.help does not process payments for cleaning services rendered between users.

All financial transactions for services must be settled directly between the client and the cleaner.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ecuadorian law, Aika.help shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages, thefts, disputes, or injuries resulting from a connection made through our platform.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cuenca, Azuay.
